Technical Product Manager

Location: Arlington, VA | Gainesville, FL | Pune, India ( 1 position at each location )

Job Description

As a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for contributing to the product feature set, strategic product direction, and competitive positioning within the market. You will build the product from existing ideas and help to develop new ideas based on your experience, insight and your contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a blend of business and technical savvy, the ability to envision the big-picture, and the drive to make that vision a reality.

You must have strong communication skills across both business and technical aspects of the product as well as an understanding of the industry terminology (within SOAR, Incident Response & additional terms throughout the cybersecurity industry). You will work with engineering to define product release requirements, requiring a technical aptitude and understanding. You will work with sales to help them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. You will also work directly with the sales channel and key customers to build a pipeline of product feature definition that supports the strategic product vision.

You will report to the Director of Product. Your role will be to help define and support the strategic objectives for the product set by filling out the product definition and working with other business units in their support of the strategic product vision.


  • Documenting clear user stories, product requirements, and use cases
  • Working with existing customers to identify key product functionality needed
  • Driving solution development by working with engineering to bring requirements into product features
  • Contributing to the go-to-market planning with other business units
  • Cross-functional communication of the product feature set across engineering and sales
  • Building wireframes to illustrate key product concepts in an understandable way
  • Maintaining documentation related to the product roadmap and strategic vision


  • 3+ years software product management experience
  • 2+ years cyber security industry experience
  • Experience building wireframes for illustration to support product requirements
  • Computer science or Engineering degree desired
  • This position requires some travel to customer and non-customer sites in North America (25%)
