Our Solutions Engineers have an understanding of customer business drivers, matching those to CyberSponse technologies, and clearly articulating complex solutions to prospective clients. Using various technologies to develop and building connectors, you will be exposed to cutting edge technology, as well as the most reliable tools. Responsibilities

  • Managing the post-sales technical process and evangelizing CyberSponse technology to existing and prospective customers.
  • Freedom to explore and implement new ideas and project concepts. (Our solutions engineers have even built a pizza delivery app in Python!)
  • Work closely with direct account management staff to educate existing customers about CyberSponse services: conference calls, site visits, presentations, technical evaluations, technical objection handling and follow up on all customer related issues.
  • Work closely with Product Management and R&D to develop future product direction and strategy – providing valuable input from “the field.”
  • Drive excellent Customer Satisfaction by understanding and over-delivering against Customer expectations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Management Information System or relevant field.
  • Minimum 1 year of overall experience in Cybersecurity or IT industry – working with Internet-based technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of technical support or development experience.
    • Hands-on technical knowledge with REST and SOAP APIs
    • Strong programming knowledge & experience
    • Good understanding of software engineering concepts
  • Principle knowledge of JS, CSS browser-based application construction, understanding of Linux OS and browser distinctions.
  • Understanding of network protocols and experience diagnosing connection-related issues and API protocols.
  • Customer Support experience including knowledge base and support ticket administration and using remote support tools like Freshdesk and TargetProcess.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Up to 15% travel required to support post-sales activities at customer locations as needed.

Technical Experiences Required

  • Strong Experience on Python and other script based programming languages.
  • Mild Experience in data structures, database management/maintenance.
  • Strong Experience in some form of machine/software automation, API and REST-Based Interfaces.

Ideal Candidate Advantages

  • Experience with SIEMs, and/or advanced analytics technologies (e.g. SPLUNK, ArcSight, QRadar, etc.)
  • Understanding for security event analysis and intrusion detection (IDS/IPS Incident response, triage, incident analysis, and remediation.)
  • Advanced Automation, Scripting, and API Engineering Background.
  • Cyber Security Incident Response Experience / Knowledge / Plans Architecture.
  • CISSP or SANS certification preferred but not required.
