Software Sales Rep

Location: Arlington, Virginia

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a confident, adaptable team player who can also work well independently. Excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and the ability to meet daily deadlines are a must. Willingness to cold-call and manage a large volume of dials is required. Previous sales experience is a must.

Candidate must have a previously demonstrated track record of exceptional Sales and Marketing successes. CyberSponse (CS) is looking for is a self-starter who can take on many different roles in order to own and support the sales process for both inbound and outbound sales. Candidate must think strategically with attention to detail necessary to successfully bring deals to closure. Being very responsive to customers, partners, managers, and CS management is a must-have skill. Also needs to support management with opening new markets by not only leveraging existing CS contacts (land and expand) but also develop new relationships at the senior management level with new and existing customers. After demonstrating the ability to take the lead for building a sales team, decisions will be made to create position descriptions for specific sales team members.

As a Software Sales Rep, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Responsible for the executing and on-going deployment of Value Selling within Security Operations and Incident Responder Markets.
  • Responsible for understanding revenue goals, volume and building pipeline, and new targets.
  • Collaborate across the Sales Team and respective Client Teams to identify, qualify and close new business sales opportunities for predefined accounts while always leading with a consultative sales approach.
  • Focused responsibility for driving the implementation of new sales methodologies.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Generate opportunities for CyberSponse through strong relationship building skills via any means possible (i.e., networking, cold-calling, campaign follow up etc.)
  • Work with the COO to evaluate and develop strategies to enable more productivity from the existing non-sales team to determine the type of sales associates needed to fill those gaps.
  • Own and manage the client relationship throughout the complete sales cycle. Actively lead customer issue resolution to ensure satisfaction and a sales success.
  • Responsible for understanding security automation and orchestration markets direction and building programs to effectively deliver to those goals.

Experience Qualifications

  • BS Business, Sales, Communications, Marketing.
  • 2+ years of Sales experience.
  • Previous experience working for a technology software vendor is preferred.
  • Strong Analytical Skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and Self Directed with achieving goal memories
