Job Description

As a CyberSponse DevOps Engineer you will work collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate our systems. Help automate and streamline operations, processes, and solutions by designing, developing, automated builds, test, and deployment systems across multiple codebases, build tools, application servers, and platforms. Maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations by troubleshooting and resolving issues in development, testing, and production environments. Design, maintain, and troubleshoot automated testing tools, Cloud architectures, Cloud automation, and configuration tools. Manage continuous testing, monitoring, integrations, and delivery of development activities. Maintain updated knowledge of latest trends and use to implement speed and efficacy improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Keep CI/CD pipeline intact and running smoothly
  • Troubleshoot, Analyze, and Provide Solution to any issues regarding pipeline and maintenance
  • Coordinate & Collaborate daily with the Dev, QA, and Project management teams
  • Daily work to further Automate processes and tools
  • Maintain, Manage, and Optimize the infrastructure required for pipeline daily
  • Daily Maintenance of Legacy work, supporting, migrating, and updating
  • Maintain current knowledge of latest tools, trends, technologies, and open source options for system improvements
  • Identify and Remove bottlenecks/manual handshakes
  • Produce detailed and concise documentation and/or reports daily
  • Initiative for self-growth, including self-learning and self-training, when applicable
  • Initiative to increase productivity, optimization of existing resources, and increase capability and potential of processes and procedures
  • Other duties as required

Preferred Certifications

  • AWS Certifications
  • IT DevOps Equivalent Certifications

Additional Requirements

  • US Citizen (REQUIRED)
  • Ability to pass a Background Check – AND – Drug Test (REQUIRED)
  • Ability to obtain Secret/TS clearance at the request of the Gov.

Requirements & Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information systems – OR –
  • Minimum ten (10) years of relevant professional experience


  • A Minimum of five (5) years of industry experience
  • A Minimum of three (3) years of experience as DevOps
  • A Minimum of five (5) years of Software development background and scripting using: Python, Java, JavaScript, C, C++, etc
  • Working knowledge of web and application server’s management and configuration (e.g. Python/Django, Load Balancers, Nginx, NodeJS, etc.)
  • A Minimum of three (3) years of experience with Cloud Architecture experience
  • A Minimum of one (1) year of experience in developing large and complex event processing platforms
  • A Minimum of one (1) year of experience in developing high volume processing solutions
  • Experience with build and deployment automation tools
  • Experience with build automation and configuration management tools
  • Experience with managing production environments on AWS or another cloud PaaS
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to produce detailed and concise reports
  • Ability to maintain integrity in all transactions; follows up and keeps promises; maintains ethical standards of clients
  • Ability to effectively adapt to new requirements; comfortable with complexity, ambiguity, and change
  • Ability to be a team player, work well under pressure to rapidly generate highly accurate technical reports
  • Ability to be a self-starter, quick learner, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently on moderate to complex assignments using
  • Independent professional discretion and judgment as well as transition quickly between projects with
    minimal supervision
  • Ability to recognize and deal appropriately with confidential and sensitive information
